Do you know of Windom ???

When we encounter a name that is new to us, we add it to our Gazetteer - that's the case with Windom.

This entry could be in error. It might be that our source had a mis-print, was simply wrong or we made a transcription error while referencing it. We hope to learn more about Windom in the future.

We found mention of Windom as a post office, but can't determine its location - other than being located somewhere in Lewis County, Washington.

It's common that the post office is named the same as the community in which it's located (although that's not always case). In this case, we can't match this post office to any of the existing communities in our gazetteer.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Windom, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1891.

From that list, the Windom post office opened in 1891.
