The Commemorative Quarter for Washington

Do you know of Cascades ???

This page is an orphan - a placeholder until we can discover more about Cascades. When we encounter a name that is new to us, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope that we'll discover more information in the future. Such is the case with Cascades.<1>

Our sources for Cascades (see Mentions and References below) indicate that it was a community with a post office by the same name. Unfortunately our sources aren't clear about the location of Cascades other than they indicate that Cascades would be found somewhere in Skamania County, Washington.

From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened  in 1851 and closed  in 1907.

Communities Also Named Cascades ...

We found four communities that share the name Cascades.

Within Washington, the name Cascades is unique.

Beyond Washington, we know of another four communities that are located throughout in the United States and Canada. Of these four communities, three are located in the United States and one is in Canada.
