While our initial data about Tuckahoe came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Tuckahoe in various books, maps and other sources. When we find a mention, a fact or snippet, we add that information to our Gazetter.

The Tuckahoe post office opened in 1835 and had closed by 1902.
