Welcome to Oradell ...

So far, we found very little information about Oradell. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Oradell to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Oradell - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Oradell, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Oradell , we believe that it would have been located within present day Grayson County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Oradell, you might consider that their post office opened in 1899.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 2 communities that are also named Oradell - they are located in Colorado and New Jersey.

Adding Oradell to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Oradell was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Oradell post office opened in 1899.

We also found Oradell on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Virginia (1911).
