Welcome to Felts ...

So far, we found very little information about Felts. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Felts to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Felts - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Felts, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Felts , we believe that it would have been located within present day Southampton County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Felts, you might consider that their post office opened in 1900.

Time Zone: The area where Felts was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 2 communities that are also named Felts - they are located in North Carolina and Tennessee.

Adding Felts to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Felts was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Felts post office opened in 1900.

We also found Felts on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Virginia (1911).
