Welcome to Favor ...

So far, we found very little information about Favor. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Favor to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Favor - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Favor, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Favor , we believe that it would have been located within present day King and Queen County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Favor, you might consider that their post office opened in 1892.

Time Zone: The area where Favor was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found another community named Favor - it's located in Kansas.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Favor was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Favor post office opened in 1892.

We also found Favor on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Virginia (1911).
