From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Pulaski had a population of 34,009 people. This is a decrease of 2.47% since the last Census (which gave a population of 34,872 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Pulaski represented 0.44% of the total population of Virginia.
