Loudoun County was founded in 1757.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Loudoun had a population of 413,538 people. This is an increase of 31.08% since the last Census (which gave a population of 315,478 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Loudoun represented 3.94% of the total population of Virginia.
