Welcome to Burt ...

So far, we found very little information about Burt. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Burt would have been located within present day Sussex County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Burt, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1911.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Burt is 40 feet [12 m] above sea level.<3>.
