So far, we found very little information about Andrews. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Andrews to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Andrews , we believe that it would have been located within present day Spotsylvania County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Andrews, you might consider that their post office opened in 1842.

Time Zone: The area where Andrews was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

The location where Andrews once stood is in the (540) area code.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Andrews was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Andrews post office opened in 1842.

We also found Andrews in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
