Welcome to Admant ...
So far, we found very little information about Admant. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>
We've added Admant to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Admant - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Admant, please Contact Us.
While we don't have the exact location of Admant , we believe that it would have been located within present day Lee County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Admant, you might consider that their post office opened in 1894.
Time Zone: The area where Admant was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Admant was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>
From that list, the Admant post office opened in 1894.
We also found Admant on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Virginia (1911).
