Welcome to Adlai ...

So far, we found very little information about Adlai. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Adlai to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Adlai - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Adlai, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Adlai , we believe that it would have been located within present day Augusta County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Adlai, you might consider that their post office opened in 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Adlai was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Adlai was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

X2X - From that list, the Adlai post office opened in 1895.

We also found Adlai on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Virginia (1911).
