While our initial information about South Fork came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of South Fork in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about South Fork. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: Initially, we were careless about keeping track of where our South Fork data came from. The following list of references and mentions is incomplete.

 

South Fork is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

From that list:

The South Fork post office opened in 1892 and had closed by 1895.
