While our initial information about Gismonda came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Gismonda in various books and other sources.
We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Gismonda. We hope that they will be useful to you.
Note: When we started collecting data about Gismonda, we were inconsistent about keeping track of where that data came from. As a result, this list of references and mentions is probably incomplete.
Gismonda is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>
From that list:
The Gismonda post office opened in 1900 and had closed by 1903.
