The location of Success has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3>
While we don't have a date for the founding of Success, you might consider that their post office opened in 1883.
From the 2010 Census (the most recent Census number we have), Success had a population of 6,627 people.<4> (see below for details).
While the community is gone, the present day location for Success is 1,800 feet [549 m] above sea level.<5>.
Time Zone: The area where Success was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Success was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>
From that list, the Success post office opened in 1883.
