Miscellaneous References and Mentions
While our initial data about Tuskegee came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Tuskegee in various books, maps and other sources. When we find a mention, a fact or snippet, we add that information to our Gazetter.

Tuskegee is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>
From that list:
The Tuskegee post office opened in 1872 and had closed by 1957.
