From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Snyder was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Snyder post office opened in 1902.

We also found Snyder on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for Oklahoma (1948).
