Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Moore had an population of 62,195 people. This is an increase of 12.92% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 51.19% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Moore had a population of 55,081 people (which is 21.54% of the total population of Cleveland County). This makes Moore the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Moore represents 1.47% of the total population of Oklahoma (which has 3,751,351 people), making it the state's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 55,081 people, the population of Moore increased 33.89% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 41,138 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Moore was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Moore post office opened in 1889.
