Welcome to Mexhoma ...So far, we found very little information about Mexhoma. If you can help us with Mexhoma, please Contact Us. Mexhoma was located in the Panhandle of Oklahoma. Mexhoma would have been located within present day Cimarron County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Mexhoma, you might consider that their post office opened in 1909. While the community is gone, the present day location for Mexhoma is 4,820 feet [1,469 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Mexhoma is about 1 mile [or ~1½ km] above sea level.
