So far, we found very little information about Kibby. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>
We've added Kibby to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have a date for the founding of Kibby, you might consider that their post office opened in 1901.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Kibby was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<2>
From that list, the Kibby post office opened in 1901.
We also found Kibby on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Oklahoma (1911).
