From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Holdenville was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Holdenville post office opened in 1895.

We also found Holdenville on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Oklahoma (1911).
