While our initial information about Etowah came from various goverment sources (GNIS, US Census, FIPS), we also found mention of Etowah in various books and other sources.

Found a mention of Etowah, but no details.

Etowah is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>
