With a 2010 count of 163 people, the population of Cornish decreased 5.23% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 172 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cornish was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Cornish post office opened in 1891.

We also found Cornish on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Oklahoma (1911).
