Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Ridgeway had an population of 326 people. This is a decrease of 3.55% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 7.91% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Ridgeway had a population of 338 people. This makes Ridgeway the county's 8th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 338 people, the population of Ridgeway decreased 4.52% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 354 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ridgeway was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Ridgeway post office opened in 1865.

We also found Ridgeway in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
