While we don't have the exact location of North Columbus , we believe that it would have been located within present day Franklin County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of North Columbus, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1859.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned North Columbus was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the North Columbus post office opened in 1859.

We also found North Columbus in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
