Welcome to New Amsterdam ...

So far, we found very little information about New Amsterdam. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added New Amsterdam to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of New Amsterdam - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with New Amsterdam, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of New Amsterdam , we believe that it would have been located within present day Highland County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where New Amsterdam was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 2 communities that are also named New Amsterdam - they are located in Indiana and Wisconsin.
