So far, we found very little information about McDowell. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added McDowell to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of McDowell , we believe that it would have been located within present day Wayne County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where McDowell was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time
