At the time of the 2010 Census, Mason had a population of 30,712 people (or 14.44% of the total population of Warren County). This makes Mason the county's most populous community.

The population of Mason represents 0.27% of the population of Ohio (which has 11,536,504 people), making it the state's 44th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 30,712 people, the population of Mason increased 39.5% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 22,016 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Mason was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Mason post office opened in 1837.
