Welcome to Linton ...

So far, we found very little information about Linton. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Linton to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Linton - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Linton, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Linton , we believe that it would have been located within present day Columbiana County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Linton was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Ohio communities named Linton: This one is located in Columbiana County and the other is located in Jefferson County.

Beyond Ohio, there are 14 communities that are also named Linton - they are located in Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Ontario, Quebec, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
