From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Glenmont was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Glenmont post office opened in 1898.

We also found Glenmont on a map titled George#&160;F. Cram Map (1901).
