At the time of the 2010 Census, Crestline had a population of 4,630 people (or 10.58% of the total population of Crawford County). This makes Crestline the county's 2nd most populous community.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Crestline was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Crestline post office opened in 1854.

We also found Crestline in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
