So far, we found very little information about Clarksburg. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Clarksburg to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Clarksburg , we believe that it would have been located within present day Belmont County<2>.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Ohio communities named Clarksburg: This one is located in Belmont County and the other is located in Ross County.
