The Commemorative Quarter for Ohio

Welcome to Calvary ...

So far, we found very little information about Calvary. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Calvary to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Calvary - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Calvary, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Calvary , we believe that it would have been located within present day Montgomery County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Calvary was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Calvary would have been located in the (937) area code.

Communities Also Named Calvary ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Ohio communities named Calvary: This one is located in Montgomery County and the other is located in Morgan County.

Beyond Ohio, there are 12 communities that are also named Calvary - they are located in Alabama, Georgia (2), Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Footnotes ...

<1>We use the term 'Historic' broadly and it generally means that the community no longer exists. However, it can also mean that the community might still exist, but was significantly larger or had a more 'official' existence in the past than it does now. Unfortunately our sources of data have proven to be unreliable. If you can provide us with more specific information about Calvary, please let us know so that we can improve our accuracy.
<2>If you're interested in how the shape of Ohio's counties, including Montgomery, have changed over time, we recommend the Atlas of Historical County Boundaries.
