While we don't have the exact location of Blanchard Bridge , we believe that it would have been located within present day Hancock County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Blanchard Bridge, you might consider that their post office opened in 1840.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Blanchard Bridge was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Blanchard Bridge post office opened in 1840.

We also found Blanchard Bridge in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
