The location of Beagle has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Beagle, you might consider that their post office opened in 1894. While the community is gone, the present day location for Beagle is 830 feet [253 m] above sea level.<4>.
