From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Newton Falls was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Newton Falls post office opened in 1896.

We also found Newton Falls mentioned on a train schedule titled New York Central Railroad Time Table (July 1902).
