With a 2010 count of 872 people, the population of Earlville increased 10.24% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 791 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Earlville was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Earlville post office opened in 1835.

We also found Earlville in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
