Welcome to Sheephead ...

So far, we found very little information about Sheephead. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Sheephead to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Sheephead - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Sheephead, please Contact Us.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Sheephead, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1883.

Time Zone: The area where Sheephead was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.
