From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ruby Hill was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Ruby Hill post office opened in 1873.

We also found Ruby Hill on a map titled George#&160;F. Cram Map of Nevada (1883).
