Welcome to Redlich ...

So far, we found very little information about Redlich. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Redlich to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Redlich - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Redlich, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Redlich , we believe that it would have been located within present day Mineral County<2>.

Redlich was founded in 1904.

Time Zone: The area where Redlich was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

The Area Code where Redlich was located: 775

Adding Redlich to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Redlich was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

X2X - From that list, the Redlich post office opened in 1907.

We also found Redlich mentioned on a train schedule titled Tonopah & Goldfield Railroad Employees' Time Table #29 (June 1924).

Footnotes ...

<1>We use the term 'Historic' broadly and it generally means that the community no longer exists. However, it can also mean that the community might still exist, but was significantly larger or had a more 'official' existence in the past than it does now. Unfortunately our sources of data have proven to be unreliable. If you can provide us with more specific information about Redlich, please let us know so that we can improve our accuracy.
<2>If you're interested in how the shape of Nevada's counties, including Mineral, have changed over time, we recommend the Atlas of Historical County Boundaries.
