Welcome to Mirage ...

So far, we found very little information about Mirage. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Mirage to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Mirage - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Mirage, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Mirage , we believe that it would have been located within present day Churchill County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Mirage, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1883.

Time Zone: The area where Mirage was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 7 communities that are also named Mirage - they are located in Colorado (2), Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico and Texas.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Mirage was on a map titled George#&160;F. Cram Map of Nevada (1883).

We also found Mirage in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
