Welcome to Mellan ...

So far, we found very little information about Mellan. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Mellan would have been located within present day Nye County<2>.

Mellan was founded in 1930.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Mellan is 5,480 feet [1,670 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Mellan is about 1 mile [or ~1¾ km] above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Mellan was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time
