Welcome to Kinkead ...

So far, we found very little information about Kinkead. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Kinkead to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Kinkead - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Kinkead, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Kinkead , we believe that it would have been located within present day Esmeralda County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Kinkead, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1883.

Time Zone: The area where Kinkead was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Kinkead was on a map titled George#&160;F. Cram Map of Nevada (1883).

We also found Kinkead in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
