So far, we found very little information about Eagle Salt Works. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Eagle Salt Works , we believe that it would have been located within present day Churchill County<2>.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Eagle Salt Works was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Eagle Salt Works post office opened in 1871.

We also found Eagle Salt Works on a map titled George#&160;F. Cram Map of Nevada (1883).
