So far, we found very little information about Coin. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>
We've added Coin to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Coin , we believe that it would have been located within present day Humboldt County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Coin, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1883.
Time Zone: The area where Coin was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

Communities Also Named Coin ...
Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Nevada communities named Coin: This one is located in Humboldt County and the other is located in Elko County.
Beyond Nevada, there are 6 communities that are also named Coin - they are located in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky and Minnesota.
