While we don't have a date for the founding of Mahone Bay, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1897.

The earliest source (so far) we've referenced which mentioned Mahone Bay was on a map titled Map of Maritime Provinces of Canada (from Rand McNally, 1897).
The elevation is an estimate for the area around Mahone Bay - it will be higher in some places and lower in others.
