Unfortunately, we didn't note our source when we found mention of General Lafayette, so we are uncertain whether General Lafayette is a community, a post office or a post office located in a community and having the same name. While we don't have its location, we believe that General Lafayette would be found somewhere in Hudson County, New Jersey.
