From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Ocean had a population of 607,498 people. This is an increase of 5.36% since the last Census (which gave a population of 576,567 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Ocean represented 6.56% of the total population of New Jersey.
