Welcome to Prairie ...

So far, we found very little information about Prairie. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Prairie to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Prairie - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Prairie, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Prairie , we believe that it would have been located within present day Polk County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Prairie was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Prairie would have been located in the (402) and (531)<3> area codes.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 12 communities that are also named Prairie - they are located in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Washington.
