The population of Plymouth represents 0.02% of the total population of Nebraska (which has 1,826,341 people), making it the state's 215th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 409 people, the population of Plymouth decreased 14.26% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 477 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Plymouth was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Plymouth post office opened in 1872.

We also found Plymouth on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Nebraska (1895).
